Or bring Cycle Prep videos to your group!

Our award-winning first period prep course, Cycle Prep, is designed to be done with both girls and parents involved, so they can learn and have these conversations together.

But together also means community! One of the big aspects we discuss in Cycle Prep is creating a Culture of Care. A great way to start girls-supporting-girls around menstruation is by setting the foundation through Cycle Prep as a group.

Not familiar with Cycle Prep? Start here first!

Want to form a generation of girls who...

The first period course that prepares girls - and parents - for the start of menstrual cycles with science, values, and the dignity of women in mind

For groups like:

Schools or parishes (as an opt-in program with parents like a mother-daughter tea)

Scouting groups or gatherings about body changes or self-care

Faith Formation or homeschool co-op groups

A special gathering of friends, in the comfort of your home!

Why Cycle Prep?

And most importantly, it's parent-focused. Integral to the program is parents learning together with their daughters so that they can continue these conversations long past your group's event.

  • Dr. Andrea Patrico, pediatrician and mom

Christina's Cycle Prep workshop is a wonderful resource to guide parents' discussion of puberty with their daughters... Girls who complete the workshop will feel prepared: they will understand the anatomy, be equipped with practical tips, and respect the meaning behind a woman's cycle.

Although she was initially skeptical, my daughter learned so much from this thorough presentation! The workshop helped her approach me with questions that she surely would never have brought up otherwise (even having had a few body talks before)...The presentation helped move her away from secretive talks among friends towards a more mature, fact-based understanding and appreciation of her body’s rhythm.

Want me to present it for you?

In addition to on-demand group licenses, I also have limited availability to teach Cycle Prep live for groups! I'd love to come to your area; inquire below for availability and speaking costs.

Presenting Cycle Prep in a religious setting? I highly recommend supplementing the video modules with Catholic Connections.

Catholic Connections is a free introduction to Theology of the Body for kids. Paired with Cycle Prep, it takes the biological conversations around menstruation and cycles a step further by placing them in the context of God's design for the body.

When you contact me about your group license needs, let me know if you would like to add Catholic Connections to your group hosting and I will add your free access!

Woman smiling at camera with her hair in a bun, navy blue shirt, and crucifix with the words meet the creator

Hi, I'm Christina!

I'm a former campus minister, lay Dominican, and fertility and cycle educator with more than a decade of experience.

But more importantly, I'm a mom of three girls.

And like you, my period prep wasn't very extensive, and I definitely wanted them to have a better experience than I did.

So I created Cycle Prep to teach them what I wish I had been taught at their age: The actual facts of what happens during periods and menstrual cycles so that they can be confident in and proud of their body's design.

I meet them where they're at - honest, straight-up but age-appropriate biological facts and terms without dumbing it down or vague "you'll know once you get it" kind of answers (because that just fills them with more fear).

All presented from the heart of a mom who just wants the next generation of girls to be better and more positively prepared for puberty.

I loved the combination of a tale and proper medical terms for anatomy, hormones etc. Also positive body image (e.g. you body is normal within this range, your body knows what's right for you, listen to your body etc.)

Got Questions?

Can I preview the videos?
The first Cycle Prep video is free to preview for everyone! Just scroll up to watch the intro.
Can I purchase a license and have someone else host?
Licenses need to be purchased directly by hosts, in order to ensure that you have access to all of the materials. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide single licenses that cover multiple hosts.
Am I allowed to charge attendees when I host an event?
Your license comes with a Welcome Letter and Planning Guide which address many of the logistics of hosting, but the short answer is: yes! As the host, you do a lot of important work to bring Cycle Prep to your community - whether that's a large parish, or a small group of friends! - and it is perfectly fine for you to seek compensation for that time. You are also very welcome to offer Cycle Prep events for free to your community if that is your preference, although in that case I would recommend asking for a "pay what you can" donation to offset hosting costs and ensure commitment from attendees.
Is this program specifically for religious groups?
Cycle Prep itself is not a religious program, though it is rooted in key concepts like respect for the design of our bodies. If you would like to include explicitly religious components with your Cycle Prep events, you are welcome to show the Catholic Connections videos, which explain what Catholics believe about the goodness of our bodies and give an introduction to the concept of the Language of the Body as it relates to body literacy for girls.
If I purchase one level of license, but find out that I need a different level, how can I change my subscription?
Please reach out to Christina if you have questions about different licensing levels. I am happy to work with individuals to find a plan which suits your needs!
I think I could actually deliver the talks. Does this license allow me to host the Cycle Prep workshop myself?
This license allows you to play the Cycle Prep videos as recorded. It does not grant permission for individuals to actually present the Cycle Prep program. If you are interested in being trained to facilitate Cycle Prep workshops, please contact Christina!

Can you press play?

You may not have the time or feel like you're qualified to prepare your group for their first periods, but if you can press play, that's all you need to do to bring Cycle Prep to your community.

And when you press play, you'll give your girls

Full knowledge of what's actually going on in their bodies

The ability to know what's normal and what's not when it comes to cycles (instead of suffering for years)

Confidence and pride in their incredible feminine design

You can help form the next generation of girls

who are confident in their bodies.

Ready for a positive puberty? Get started with Cycle Prep, now available for groups!
